I don't have any to submit but certainly would like to obtain the correct address for requesting one. I contacted Susan Miller, Circuit Clerk in Danville. She suggested County Annex at 6 N. Vermillion, Danville, ILL 96832 - which I did and never have received reply at all. Who should I contact? Thanks, Irma Jean Morgan [email protected]

Phyllis, I have somewhere........going crazy trying to find it. A Cope/Lewis 1923 family reunion photo. My uncle helped me identify some of the people in it a few years ago. Wish I could find the photo to put on the website. I know it is here. I would have never thrown something like that out. It is a long photo. Not sure I could even scan it. It may be to wide to fit all in one scan. I believe from a post you made back in 2000 we may have the same photo. Were you able to identify more people in the photo other than the ones mentioned in your post? Kristie Setser Keeping Genealogy Free..... Phyllis, Thank you for the information. My Setser's are from Clay County KY so I have many resources for that area and will be able to do some more research on the Lewis line. Kristie Setser Keeping Genealogy Free..... And copyrights where they belong....to the submitter http://www.gentrails.com

I am looking to open a genealogy library in California after I receive my masters in Library Science. (probably at least 4 years from now). Also, if anyone wants to send their family pedigrees or history to me that would be great too! Feel free to email me with any questions. Thank you! Amy

I do know it was a popular name in the small town near Giessen in Germany where my KROECK and related family ( including the name AMEND ) members came from. The town is Heuchelheim near Giessen. The Lutheran Church, St. Martins has a web-site that you can visit. They were extremely helpful in sending me all my ancestors names and dates of baptism, marriage and deaths for a modest fee for the research in their parish registers. This town has provided me with the most extensive family trees going back to the 1600's. If you have some of the AMEND family members birth dates it couldn't hurt to give them a try. Tom Green
