It depends! One group has a Thomas Donovan who died in 1830 in Mason Co., KY. Supposedly married to Margaret Hanna who, after he died, moved to Vermillion Co. On the other hand, in the Kankakee Mound Grove Cemetary, the plaque on his "grave" says he died in 1857. But that is the plaque that was put there in 1930. The Cemetary has no more info and the Kankakee people can't find anything more. Thanks for looking. Jeannie

Velda I went to IGHS today and they have your request for Wm. K. Cotton's probate record. Unfortunately, that box is being microfilmed and has not returned to us as yet. I called Sue Miller and left a message regarding its status. So will let you know when I get her reply. So your request to IGHS may take awhile Granny

Abraham and Rebecca Stipp are buried in a country graveyard on the Vigo/Vermillion Co., line. They seem to fit the families I found in Berkley Co., Va. There seem to be lots of Abraham Stipps. A competent genealogist said she worked on the line for a family in Chicago, and descendants of an Abraham and Rebecca Stipp told her that they came our of the Sherman Valley in Pa. Could have been another couple with the same name.
