I hope this is your family! Smith-Lyerle Cem., Union Co. The next to the oldest death in this cemetery is that of Geo Smith who died in 1851. There are alot of Smiths (of course) buried here, so some of them probably belong to your family of Smiths? I'm picking out the ones I'm pretty sure are yours. If you will let me know others you are looking for I will send that info. Row 4: Riley Nobel 28 Mar 1827-1 Jan 1909, aged 81 y 9 m 2 d Elizabeth (Cauble) Nobel his wife, 7 Oct 1831-29 Sep 1872, ages 39 y 10 m 22 d (I do know that there are at least a couple of marriages for their children in my marriage books because it lists the parents names. If you want that info. let me know). Row 4: Richard M. Finch, illegible Row 1: Sarah wife of R.M. Finch died 3 Mar 1875, aged 64 y 4 m 18 d Row 4: James D. son of Wm. and Sarah Nobel, died 23 Jan 1868, aged 10 m 19 d Amelia I. daughter of Wm. and Sarah Nobel, died 26 Mar 1863, aged 7 m 19 d Row 5: Mary Ann daughter of Wm. and Sarah Noble, died 3 Nov 1864, aged 1 y 7 m 12 d Wm. Noble 25 Feb 1820-18 Mar 1867, aged (stone is broken) Andrew J. son of W. & S. Noble, died 28 Sep 1869, aged 17 y 8 m HOW SAD!
