My great, great, great grandparents were Andrew Smith and Catherine Halterman. According to my info Andrew was born about 1775 in NC, and Catherine was born about 1775-80 in PA. They came to Illinois with 10 or 11 children. I was reared near the Smith cemetery where my great, great grandparents, Andrew M. Smith and Juniata Gregory are buried.
