I'm researching the Phelan family of Union Co. I believe the father was Evans M. Phelan (b. 1775-d. bef 1844) who lived in Johnson Co in the 1840 census. I'd like to share research. "Dicey" Phelan b. 1824 TN, died 1894 in Union Co. M. John Henderson Corzine. Had one child - sex & name not known. 5. James Monroe Phelan b. 1824 Bledsoe Co., TN. Died 1894 Union Co., IL. M. Rachael Brown. Ch., Elizabeth, Josephine, Virginia, Emma, Annie Lucinda, Amanda. 6. Rebecca Phelan b. 1825, died circa 1862. m. Silas Jones. Ch: James M., Jessie B., Sarah caroline, Rachel 7.
