My Alexander relatives came from North Carolina (haven't quite verified where) to Southeast Missouri then on to Union County. My grandmother lived in Missouri most of her early years, her mother died when she was very young and the family was split up. She married a cousin of hers and her mother-in-law's maiden name was Alexander. They have me going in circles trying to figure it out, she was very tight lipped about giving out any information.
