I am the 3rd greatgranddaughter of William and Eliza Russell and I can not find the names of his parents or anything on his side of the family. I have a lot of information on ELiza's family, but William's side is a BIG void. Please help me fill in the blanks. I know that they lived in Union Co. and had four children: George Washington Russell(my ancestor) Polly Ann Russell Sarah Catherine Russell William Russell, Jr. William, Sr. died in his 30s and I do not think that Eliza ever remarried. That is all that I know. Your help would be appreciated as I live in Georgia and am too far away to research records firsthand in Illinois. Thanks, Ashley (Russell) Hood
