Degarmore on 12/05/1867, was divorced from him on 19 Sep 1874 (name transcribed as Degarmo) and married Jackson Apple on 26 Sep 1874. According to it, Jackson was born 26 Sep 1850 in TN, died 9 Jan 1903 in Lick Creek, Union County, and was buried in Camp Ground Cem near Anna. By 1904 Harriet had married a Treece. Illinois Death Index shows Harriet Melinda Treece died 2/25/1914 in Stokes Precinct, Union County, aged 64 years. 1880 Union Co census shows Jackson Apple, age 30, TN NC NC, and wife Harriett 30 SC SC SC, with four children, including a son William, aged 10, b IL. 1900 Union Co census shows Harriet Apple b Jun 1849 SC, mother of 9 children, 8 living.
