The young lady who answered the phone stated that no hospital records could be released because of the new federal regulations (HIPAA) regarding patient privacy. If a patient died there, the death certificate is available through the county court house--I have gotten two different death certificates for relatives who died at the State Hospital (one mine & one my husband).
