My name is Gale Red and I am the coordinator for the IL Confederate Graves Project. We are trying to find the graves of all Confederate veterans buried in IL and to learn all we can about each man. While your greatgrandfather apparently fought for the Union after had Southern sympathies as a younger man, by any chance are you aware of any Confederate veterans buried in IL?
