The Oma Abernathie in my line was born abt. 1891 and died abt. 1913. She was one of ten children of Edward Washington Abernathie and Minerva Sams. Her father and my grandfather, William D. Abernathie, were brothers. She married an unknown Monroe and they had at least one child by the name of Ruth Monroe, born abt. 1912. Regards, Doug Abernathie.
