Sean, hello :) I dont have much on the Houston family, but I recognized the surname in my RENDLEMAN family. Actually, my gg grandfather RENDLEMAN was illigitimate, but his mother's daughter Alice May UNDERWOOD (b. 27 May 1909 Murphysboro) married a Jack/John HOUSTON, 13 March 1926 in Collinsville, IL. The reason I responded is that this RENDLEMAN family was out of Mt. Glenn and Cobden, Union Co, IL. I also recognize the CARRAKER name, but I will have to dig some more.
