Your husband and I are distant cousins. Nannie Russell was the sister of my great-grandfather Willie E. Russell. In fact, I have seen pictures of them together. I know that Willie and Nannie's parents were George Washington Russell and Lucinda A.( Davis) Russell. Lucinda was the daughter of John William Davis and Narcissa lnu. George's father was William T. Russell, Sr. I have been unable to find his parents. GW's mother was Eliza Lence. Her family tree goes back very far. Her parents Boston and Elizabeth Lence were first cousins.
