Davis Sep/24/1868 married to John J. Ferrill, Sep/24/1868 in Union County IL. Also a Nancy Acenith Davis married to Benjamin Franklin Biggs on May/20/1877 in Johnson County IL. Then there is Patsy Davis married to a Marvel (Marvil, Marble many spellings) Henson who had two children - Bernice Henson b abt 1822 & Perlee Henson b abt 1823 in Union County. This line married into the Black, Parmely, Biggs and Anderson families. The Andersons had many Cornelius first name associations so it shows promise of a link somewhere. Also the Black family had moved to Marquand Mo in the later 1800 from Union County and then many moved back to Illinois while some stayed in Mo. All of the above familys are intermingled. You may also want to look into the Tweedy family of Union County. All of the above had many children and intermarriges. I had a computer crash and I'm still trying to piece it all back together but I believe there is some promising leads here. I! have a number of Davis women married into these lines without any info on the Davis parents or siblings. I hope this helps.
