Sarah Unknown Maiden Name is living with daughter Martha Wilson who married John Watkins in 1850. She is a widow by then. Her husband may have been named Samuel Wilson of North Carolina. Sarah was b c 1785 VA. By 1860, she is 75 years old and still living with dau Martha Wilson Watkins in Union Co, IL. Still alive in 1870, she is 86 years old and states her birthplace is NC. I think she had at least three children, William R Wilson b c 1816 NC and died after 1870 Union Co, IL, Martha Wilson Watkins b c 1817 NC and George Wilson b c 1820 NC or VA. All four of these seemed to die in Union Co, IL. I would very much like to find burials for them. I think Samuel Wilson probably died before the family moved to Illinois. Also they may have stopped in TN along the way to IL. I suspect they might have been from Rowan Co, NC since 1820 shows a George and William R Wilson on the same page....maybe! Thanks for any help!
