I have day dreamed many time about who I would like to speak with the most. Now I think it would be my Grandmother Serrepty Ann Barringer Hale. She was born in 1860 and died in 1911. That was 21 years before I was born. She states on her marriage license, that she was the daughter of Willis Barringer and Sarah E. Crowder. Her father Willis was mustered out of the Civil War in 1865. I can't find a trace of Willis or Sarah since that time. I have been told that Serrepty was an orphan. If her mother and father both died between 1865 and 1870 (as they are not in the 1870 census) then she would have been an orphan, but who raised her? I have no clue, as I can't find her in the 1870 census. She and my Grandfather got married in 1879, so she is back in being again. I have thousands of questions to ask her. Please Granny Sep talk to me. Ernest Hale
