She graduated from medical college in 1869 and was the second female physician to register a doctor's certificate in Union County. She married John Martin Tracy in Ohio and married 2nd Samuel Cutler. Her children were Melanie (Mrs. Parker Earle), Mary (Mrs. Henry V. Mott), and John Martin.

Darrell, Do you know about any other female doctors in Union County? I was surprised to find on my grandma's birth certificate in 1902 (Dongola) that the attendant was Mattie M. Crain. The midwife was crossed off seemingly to reflect that she was an MD.
