I have also tried the historical society and at Choate with regard to the fire and cemetery destruction. Choate will tell me nothing. It seems no one in Anna seems to know about the destruction to the cemetery. Choate has informed me that they have to have a court order but the records were destroyed and their are only some index cards which provides very sparse information. Like Name, dob, dod, admission date, discharge date, and a vague diagnoses. I live in Florida so except for one trip to Anna last year I have had to do most of this through mail and telephone. Is there anyone who can tell me about the fire that destroyed the records or the destruction to the cemetery
