Patricia, Not really sure about the names of the two children. Some believe the names were Nancy and Joseph, the two who showed up on the 1830 census. However, I think it possible that the Nancy Noble who married William Penrod in 1849 could have been Henry and Barbara's daughter and the other child that died with them in 1836 was born between 1830 and 1836, but that is supposition and I do not have a name. Patricia, First of all thanks again for all the help. Unfortunately, I do not have a death date for Sarah nor where she is buried. I do believe that she married at least three times. The first was to William Stearman (Stearsman) 3 Aug, 1843. Next was William A Noble 2 Apr 1846 and the third was to David M Lynch 15 Aug 1869 (likely the one you saw). Since I cannot find a death certificate or burial location it may be that she remarried a fourth time, but I have not been able to establish that either. It is also possible that she moved out of the state. I have marriage records that lists parents names, ages and other info. starting about 1877. Before that the info. is sparse. If you need anything looked up in these let me know the names. I know I've seen some of your names in them and sometimes they are second marriages. If you want to send any of your family group sheets I can try to fill in your blanks. I have one question to add to what Linda has given you and that is would you have any idea where Henry Noble and Barbara (Smith) Noble or their two children are buried? One supposition is since 4 of them died very close together, their deaths may have been caused by a disease or plague of some kind and perhaps they are not buried where they would have if their deaths had a different cause. Such wonderful information, and it absolutely is my family! Would you have any information at all on a Mary Gaston or Ghaston? I don't have any of her family and believe she died in childbirth.......but that's supposition. My great grandfather Joseph seems to have been her only surviving child. I believe he may have lived with the Meisenheimers for a short time after the death of his mother and at the time his father (William) married Sarah Stearman. One more question at this time...for whenever you might have time to answer.....was there at the end of 1835 and the beginning of 1836 a plague or disease in the southern Illinois area that might have cause the death of Henry, Barbara, and two of their children? I know....whenever I read of an early death, I think what a tragedy for the family. Thank you many times over! Linda Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. My husband's ancestor, Davault, is the youngest son of Andrew and Catherine Halterman. I recently found his baptism record and some of his siblings in Rowan County, NC. Also found Andrew served in the Volunteer Pennsylvania Militia in 1795. He received land in Montgomery County NC in 1797.
