Son of Johann Heinrich Herman Meyer, b 1833 Germany, and Emma Antenbrink, b 1836 Germany. Traugott married Ida Bublitz around 1898 in St. Joseph MO and had children Ester, Martin and Edwin. Heritage Quest's index to the 1900 census shows an Ernst Meyr, age 45, in Cape Girardeau Co MO. Name might appear as Meyer in cemetery listings.
