    3. Hello to list; Just joined today in hopes of cracking a problem "brick wall" My Ill. Surnames are; BROWN--WILSON. I have searched far and wide for the parents of my ggg Grandmother : Martha Jane BROWN b.21,Aug.1820 at Alexandria,Va.--Mar.21,Mar.1839 Tazewell Co. Ill. d. 1,Jan.1899 Harrison Co. Mo. She married a Reed {Ried} WILSON b.1818,In. d.21,Feb.1882 Harrison Co.Mo. They must have lived in Tazewell Co. for at least 14 years. The 1860 census for Harrison Co. Mo. shows all the children born in Ill. The oldest, William H. 1841 and the youngest,Mary E. 1854. My great grandmother one of the children was Margaret E.WILSON b.27,Mar.1844 in Peoria. < This brings me to a question.?> In the 1839 to 1844 period, were Tazewell and Peoria Country separate?? Long introduction,But I need some help finding Martha Jane's parents in the worst way. I expect it is a long shot to hope that some record of marriage that early would mention the names of the Parents. Best Regards; Donald Wilson Gossick Buffalo,Wyoming gossick@trib.com
