Looking for any information about the Barnard or Chaffer families from the many Tazewell County resources that they have been written up in. My ggg-grandfather Abraham Chaffer owned a large amount of farm land in the Deer Creek area. He also owned the first store there and the post office. He was a town supervisor in 1867-68. Abraham's eldest child Rachel married Robert Barnard in 1852, they were my gg-grandparents. Both Chaffer and Barnard families are buried at Glendale Cemetery. If one of the member of this list lives close to the cemetery and is willing to take pictures of the grave I would be very grateful to them. I appreciate any help that can be given to me.
