Would anyone happen to have any information on Araham Chaffer's first wife. Abraham bought 80 acres of land in Tazewell COunty, Deer Creek, on 11/24/1836. He opened the first store there and was also appointed Postmaster. His first wife died after 1844 and before 1847. He had four children by his first wife, Rachel, Abraham, John and Frederick. In 1847 he remarried to Sarah Huxtable. Hopefully there is some type of record listing who Abraham's first wife was. Thank you very much for any help that you can give to my endless searching.
