Hello I"m looking for information about Jesse McGee who lived in Tazewell County, from about 1830 (or before) for many decades. He may be the same Jesse McGee who taught school (probably very briefly) on the Tazewell-Peoria County border in 1824. Does anyone have access to a Tazewell County history, which might have information on this family? I believe he is closely related to Ann McGee, my ancestral grandmother who lived just into Peoria County, across from Tazewell County in 1832, with her husband John RIDGEWAY. If anyone recognizes this line, I have more data on this family in Tazewell county--what I don't have is a ancestry for this Jesse McGee. Thanks for any information on this family.
