Sharon, I would write the library in Washington at the address I gave you since they aren't real busy yet. They are planning a new library, but there are times when there's barely anyone in there. They are a nice bunch of ladies. There is a historical society in Washington too that I forgot to mention. And if you want to find out about Manito I would suggest writing to the local paper with a self addressed envelope included. They would know about genealogical societies ect. I just know the Trowbridges owned a lot of acreage down there around Pekin and Manito, and in Malone twp. too west of Green Valley. Maybe Gayle R. might know more? Gayle? Smiles, Denise
