Thanks Mike for that info. My major problem is that I live in western Canada and I just don't have access to the majority of sources. My Sarah J. Hancock, was born in Piatt Co., married there, and lived there with her husband Albert N. Collins for almost a year, until after my grandmother was born. They then moved back to his home in Pekin, IL. She had a son Robert, that my grandmother called Bert, and from other sources, I have been told there was a 3rd child that did not survive. This child had to have been born abt 1881-1886 when Sarah died - I suspect in child birth. She was buried with her family in the Harshbarger Cemetery in Piatt Co. The page from that Cemetery book, gives her date of death but NOT where she died. Anyone with other suggestions please, reply. All of your information is very appreciated.
