I am trying to find out more on my gggrandparents who were in Washington , ILL Tazwell county . All I know is the in 1864 my ggrandfathere Edward William Schoon was born in Washington, ILL . to Ada Schoon and Catharine Janssen Schoon . I did find another name on his marriage cert a Anna Schoon as a witness maybe she was his sister . I do know that Ada and Catharine Schoon are buried in Glendale Cemetery, Washington Twp, Tazewell County IL. SCHOON, Ada - March 17, 1827 - April 24, 1916 Catherine - August 14, 1832 - Oct 12, 1909 I would like to find someone who may know where I could get a copy of the obits for them so I can find out more and maybe who there parents were also if there were other children besides Edward and maybe Anna . They were Lutheran and belong to the Lutheran Church maybe someone would have access to some of the Church records . Would anyone know also of anyone who may take some pictures of the headstones at the cemetery ?? I have just found this site and hope that there may be someone out there who can help me find the missing pieces of my family there . Thank Sharon In Calif .
