Joseph Lucas, son of Abraham Lucas and Marcy Kelsey Lucas, moved from Caesars Creek Baptist in Greene County, Ohio, to Indian Run Baptist, also Greene County, Ohio, and then to Illinois. He settled for a period in Irish Grove Township, Menard County, [1825-1830] then briefly at Pekin in Tazewell County, then to Corwin Township, Logan County, then Broadwell Township, Logan County [1839]. His parents and siblings were in Logan County. It is likely he was in Tazewell in 1833. He had a son named Peter P. I don't know what happened to Peter P. but he could be the name on your list. There is no evidence Joseph was ever in McLean County. Members of his family were part of the Lake Fork Church but I don't believe this Joseph was. Cheryl Rothwell LoganCty@mindspring.com
