The Hazard's were from San Jose. William Hazard died this year. He was about 71 years old. Does this ring a bell?     3. Sharon, I would write the library in Washington at the address I gave you since they aren't real busy yet. They are planning a new library, but there are times when there's barely anyone in there. They are a nice bunch of ladies. There is a historical society in Washington too that I forgot to mention. And if you want to find out about Manito I would suggest writing to the local paper with a self addressed envelope included. They would know about genealogical societies ect. I just know the Trowbridges owned a lot of acreage down there around Pekin and Manito, and in Malone twp. too west of Green Valley. Maybe Gayle R. might know more? Gayle? Smiles, Denise

    3. Hi , I was wondering if someone could send me the obit for Ella Schoon Trowbridge she died in March 16, 1959 she lived in Washington , Tazwell county , She was married to a Roy Trowbridge . Anyone who may know more on her I would love to hear from . Also if someone has access to the obits I have found Edward Schoon and Katharine Schoon both born in 1886 and died in 1927 Schoon burials at Glendale Cemetery, Washington Twp, Tazewell County IL. With two uncles both having son's named Edward I don't know which one this Edward and his wife belong to . Hans Schoon son or John Schoon's son . Then the other one had a son Edward who's wife was Katie Hailey and they lived in Manito , ILL Tazwell county also Route 2 spring Lake owned by Wheeler Bros . Any help with obits on this family I would appreciate . Also death dates for the other Edward and Katie Schoon . Thanks for your help Sharon

    3. Hello List, Can anyone help me with info on Delia A. King who married Edwin A. Vanduzen in Tazewell County on 18 June 1862. Vol B pg 235 I am looking for a Mrs. Delia A. King (George W.) who was in AR in 1860 with 3 children..Elliott, Robert, and Frances. Delia King seems to have vanished and I am now looking for possible new marriages. Thank you for any help.     3. I need help in finding a obit for Hans Schoon he died Jan 18, 1939 in Washington , ILL . the death cert says Washington Twp , Tazwell county is were he lived for 76 years 3months . On the Place of buriel is says Mt Vernon cemetery , Linn Twp , Woodford county . I have not been able to find him in the censes at all and have had a lot of help from others trying to look for him also . So I feel maybe I could get a obit from the library there if someone would help with this . maybe the cemetery kept records and copies of obits also . I dont' know where else to look hope someone can help me find his obit . I appreciate the help . The last I have Hans listed for is the 1880 censes in his parents home nothing in 1900 for him beside his death cert . Thanks , Sharon

Also for a Hans Schoon and his family they were I think in Linn Twp , Woodford county . Maybe around Washington . Tazwell county . I just had a death date for him no other infor on his wife or children for either of these two they are my gggr uncles they are brothers .
