Whoopee! Got info - William SHIRK, born Sept. 15, 1822, died November 6, 1884, Wife, Susannah remarried William W. Van Tassell. Lived on N 1/2 SW 1/4 Sec. l, Jefferson Twp. (H. Boelk farm). She was born March 2, 1835 and died June 27, 1913 buried in the Yellow Creek Cemetery in Kent, IL. Children: William; Lucinda who married Oscar Wilson; Adaline who married George Broshous; Maria who married Charles Pohl and Lydia who married John Dittswroth. William SHIRK, Jr. son of William 1866-1942. Buried in Yellow Creek Cemetery. Wife, Laura 1870-1924 also buried in YCC. Son, Ora 1896-1898 buried in YCC.
