Hi, I am the Pearl City Public Library librarian, and have the cemetery listing for Yellow Creek Cemetery for William Shirk, b. Sept. 15, 1822, d. 1884?, and Susan Shirk, b. Mar. 2, 1835, d. Jun. 27, 1913. We have a limited index of the old Pearl City News, which lists the apparent obit. of Susan, and mention of a house fire in 1914, apparently their old home. I have the paper on microfilm, and could search for and print out the obit, if you want to get back with me and make arrangements.
