I saw an ad in the Journal Standard some months back about a book being published (I'm assuming by the Journal Standard) called "People and Places of Stephenson County...100 Years of History". This could be pre-ordered by filling out the order blank and sending a check for $29.95 per book. It says, "If you don't reserve a copy, the price will be $39.95 in November when the books are available." Could this possibly be the book you were talking about at Barnes & Noble for $89???!!!
