While going through the books of obits etc. that my grandmother kept, I also came across a wonderful news article., It was on the front page of the Rockford Morning Star and dated Wednesday 30 April 1941. The title is 44 Freeport men leave for Induction Center. The photo is wonderful! AND everyone in the photo is identified. While I would love to share this with everyone and esp. anyone who might have a family member in it I am sure that scanning and sending it email to each person who would like a copy would not be the most efficient way to do this. Any ideas? Anywhere that I can post it on the county site? Do I need permission to post it online? Thanks for any suggestions.
