    3. I am trying to locate my gr-gr-uncle George Lubbers who probably lived in Freeport about 1900. He was born in 1864 and came to the US with his parents Hinderk (Henry) lubbers and Antje Brinken Garrels Lubbers in 1868. Anna died in 1876 and Hinderk in 1878, both in Freeport of Stephenson County. I have no record of where they are buried or the exact date of their deaths. All of their other children came to Grundy and Franklin County, Iowa and some then to South Dakota. George was married to Regina Vaupel and died a "Young Man". This is all I know of him. Does anyone have access to the 1900 Illinois Census Soundex to see if George is still listed and had any children. Also any other Cemtery records or the like for George, Regina, and his parents Hinderk and Anna. Thank you in advance for any help anyone can provide. I have hit the "BRICK WALL" on this one. 3. I work at the history room at the library, but the library is going to be closed next week for "automation"???Anyway if you can wait a few weeks, as there a couple of weeks that I will be unavailable, I will look up info that the history room has, I do know that one of the Vaupel's married a Edward Seitz, Will be glad to check things out, but will not be able to do it for a couple of weeks, if that's ok with you. The history room charges 20 cents for copies and $1.00 for any birth, marriage or death record.
