I note with interest the request for information on the Scottish Rite Consistory of Freeport. I know that when my Great Grandfather Thomas Benson Reynolds went to Wyoming, Jones county, Iowa from Lena, he was a member of the AF&AM. This raises a question if he had joined while living in Stephenson county. Also if his wife, Paulina Eleanor (Cobb) Reynolds was a member of the Eastern Star at that time.
