Roger- the chat will not work with AOL 3.0 or less than Explorer 4.0. With one person I think she might have been pressing the wrong thing, cause when I walked her through it she got on. You merely go to the front page, and down on the right hand side is the chat room button (it is not up on the middle of the page where the chat is announced) Press that button down on the right side, it will load in the area where you sign in to the chat, on slower modems, it may take a while to load in so wait a couple of min., you will be able to put in your name and where it says profile most folks put in the surnames they are searching, then press chat and you are in. Most nights we have been having 10 to 14 and folks giving each other suggestions as well as good info. We can definitely handle many more, so all feel free to join us on Thurs night. It is central time at 8pm and if there is no one there right at 8 wait a few min, as people including me trickle in. Sometimes I have to kick kids off the puter before I can get on.
