    3. Re: thursday evening Genealogy Chats: Dear Lou, While it has been several months since I joined in one Genealogy chat; I regret being away or unavailable for more involvement. Unfortunately I tend to forget, until it is too late. You are very good about reminding every one through the Rootsweb.com process. Unfortunately I usually don't get my ILSTEPHE_L@rootsweb.com mailing until Friday morning. By then it is too late. Is it possible to get those out a day earlier?? I would like to add a Family Link, or request to have my Family listed for research if possible. In as much as they were known inhabitants of Stephenson County for about 45 years, and many of them are buried in the Cemetery at Lena, I would like to add them for further note. The families are those of Levi J. Reynolds and his wife Mary Hill, daughter of John Hill. They came to Erin and Kent townships from Ripley, Chautauqua County, New York about 1845. Several children lived there, to Include: Orville Frank Reynolds (later moved to Mt. Carroll), Melvia Reynolds who married back into the Hill family, by marrying Hiram Hill (Jr. or II); Thomas Benson Reynolds, who married Paulina Eleanor Cobb, and Mary Reynolds who married Jerome Seabury. My grandfather and his older brother were also born in or about Lena. His name was Bion Orville Reynolds, and his older brother was Elmer Jerome Reynolds. Mary Hill Reynolds, had several siblings also of Stephenson Co., namely David B. Hill, and Elijah Hill, and several others. I have been in contact with both Marge Schultz, and a couple of others there, in Lena and Freeport, who have been very helpful. But of course one never gets enough material on their own family. Thanks for keeping this web thing from Stephenson co. going. Respectfully yours, Glenn Glenn G. Reynolds M.D. 8023 Shirley Ave. Gig Harbor, WA 98332 Phone: 1(253)- 858-6031
