Hi Sue, I have no problem putting it up on the county site, but yes, we'd need to get permission from the Rockford paper since it isn't 75 yrs old or older. Hopefully, if we credit them with the intial works, they won't object. 3. While going through the books of obits etc. that my grandmother kept, I also came across a wonderful news article., It was on the front page of the Rockford Morning Star and dated Wednesday 30 April 1941. The title is 44 Freeport men leave for Induction Center. The photo is wonderful! AND everyone in the photo is identified. While I would love to share this with everyone and esp. anyone who might have a family member in it I am sure that scanning and sending it email to each person who would like a copy would not be the most efficient way to do this. Any ideas? Anywhere that I can post it on the county site? Do I need permission to post it online? Thanks for any suggestions.

    3. Hi - The library was closed Tues and Wed of this week, They will be open the 19th and 20th. The history room is not usually open on Sat and the library isn't open on Sunday's during the summer. Starting the first of Sept they will be open on Sun. If you go to the library on the 19th, they will try and call a volunteer in to open the room for out of town visitors.
