My GG Jacob Pees was a member of the Hecker GAR and a few years ago I contacted the Sons of the Hecker GAR and they were very helpful in furnishing me information on his membership . They sent me a history and the Page with his name when he join and the page when he died . They sent some pictures also but not of my GG . On his OBIT it said that the he was a member of the Hecker GAR and the funeral will be under the authority of that organization . Two of his brother were also part of this organization from Ohio . I am sure they have the roll for all members . Sonny
