I was looking at LDS film # 1317835 "Conveyance Records 1816-1900, Monroe County" a few weeks ago for the land records of my "possible" ancestors. Their 1846 town of Tamarawa land record included the phrase "land described by town diaries". Does anyone have info about these "town diaries"? Tamarawa was near Hecker, Monroe County. According to the land records, Tamarawa was partly in Monroe County, and partly in St. Clair County. Dan Daniel J.
