Is there a transcription of those buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery? I am looking for the surname Voegeli, especially Raymond Voegeli. I know his parents are buried in this cemetery and am wondering if he is also. I have been unable to locate him or any information about his death, only that it was pre 1956 when his mother passed away. Many thanks. Conni
Connie: I am not sure about a transcription of the cemetery but there is plot map at the Belleville Library. I have used the plot map and their index there to look up some people that are buried there. Do you know an approx. date of death? Conni and all- Walnut Hill burials are abstracted on 3x5 cards at the Belleville Public Library, transcribed from the cemetery's sexton's books into the 1990s. The library also has the Walnut Hill cemetery lot cards (photocopy of) which shows others buried on the same lot (may or may not be related). The librarians probably wouldn't mind looking up 1 (that is ONE) burial by phone - just specify St. Clair County Burial File including Walnut Hill on 3x5 cards in case you get a newer librarian. 618-234-0441 Diane ----- Original Message ----- From: "Conni Braun" <cbraun675@wideopenwest.com> To: <ILSTCLAI-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Tuesday, December 28, 2004 4:48 PM Subject: [ILSTCLAI] Walnut Hill Cemetery > Is there a transcription of those buried in the Walnut Hill Cemetery?
