Dear List, There are words written behind the name of the sponsor on some of the Baptismal records from the St. George Church in New Baden. The script writing is difficult to read and therefore I can't refer to my Latin book to translate, if indeed they are Latin words. I suspect one or more of them mean proxy or substitute for. Could someone help with this? Just a list of some of the Latin words that you've seen on your records from St. George would be helpful. Thank You. Darlene
