    1. [ILSTCLAI] Locations near Lebanon - 1890s
    2. I recently received a photo album that belonged to my grandparents. I believe most of the pictures were taken between 1890 and 1908, many of them in Lebanon. A number of places are labeled, and since I've never lived in Illinois, I wonder if anyone could tell me where they might be. They are: (1) Mascoutah Road (2) Tower Grove Park (3) The Bryan House - where William Jennings Bryan's father lived while attending McKendree (4) Sulphur Springs (5) Clionian Hall (6) Platonian Hall (7) Manitou Springs railroad station (8) Eads Bridge (9) Forest Park (The Music Pavilion) There is also a picture of Main Street looking west from Dr. Waggoner's office in Lebanon. The trees on the street look pretty small. Anyone who knows Lebanon well could probably date the picture fairly accurately. There are pictures of a couple of bridges, a large church, a domed mausoleum in a park-like setting, views of the "Nashville" at anchor on the Mississippi at St. Louis. Several photos are of people whose names mean nothing to me. I will list them in a separate message. Betty
