Please post I am researching relatives by the family name Hennemann. They lived in the New Athens area from 1800 up until recently when there appears to be no one by that last name available. Some names I have obtained are Adam (1800-1875) and Katharina (1805-1863) Hennemann' their son, Christopher (1833-1892) and wife Anna Maria (1835-1871), The 1860 census lists Adam and Catherine (sp) and three children, Matthew, aged 29, Anna aged 24 and Dora aged 22. Adam married Johanna Lehr (1855-1880)and may have had the following children, Andrew (1857-1902), Adam (1859-1935), Martin (1861-1955), Susan (1865-1950) and Bertha (no dates) Andrew married Mary Meder (1860-1904) in Pinckneyville and had three children, Chris, Ludwig and Frances. Martin married Barbara Wolf (1856-1933), Susan married Jacob Emge (1856-1933). Martin and Barbara had a son Christopher (1909-1986 who married Elizabeth Klien (1913-still alive) and had a daughter Eileen (1913) who lived five days. Some other Hennemann names I have encountered are Andreas (1827-1879) who married Elizabeth Mathes in 1864. A lot of my information is from death books, head stones, census data, etc and may not be from the same family. I would like to hear from anyone who can help me with accurate information. Don Schultz
