Oh joy! The names of the children you listed for Clara Miller sound so familiar! I have notes from the baptismal records from St. Paul's Catholic Church in Highland, Madison County, for some relatives who later lived in St. Clair Co. Children of Carl Mueller and Maria Tripel baptized at St. Paul: Ferdinand, b. June 1847, Amalia, b. July 1854 Amalia, b. Feb 1849. I have baptism dates for all three of these children, but notes for the second Amalia are most interesting, because her godparents were Joseph Mueller and Elisabeth (Meier) Mueller his wife. Also baptized the same day was John Christian Mueller, son of Joseph and Elisabeth. John Christian's godparents were Theodore Mueller and Maria/Mary Mueller. Is this Mary Mueller the same as the mother of Ferdinand and the two Amalias? I have been wondering for years about the relationships between Carl and Joseph and Theodore. I suspected that they were brothers or possibley cousins. I have more info on these folks, and many more questions. Would love to swap both.
