Hello List!... I am trying to find out any thing on a company that my husbands Grandfather worked at and the union that he was a member of... Walter August Rachas Sr. Worked for the American Zinc Company in Faimont City for 18 years... and was a member of the Mine, Mill & Smetler Local 82 ... Walter started to work for this company about 1922 and retired about 1940 and he pasted in 1952. I have had no luck looking for information for the Local.. and or the Company ... I have written to other Locals and Company with the same name .. but no luck.. I was hoping that I might find someone that knows of the company or the Local 82 that may have known of the last name of Rachas... Thank you for taking the time and reading my message.. Bye ...
