In some recent information the location of birth for numerous family members, especially the ones born in the early part of the 1900s is listed as Caseyville Township.     3. The citation should read born Caseyville Township, St. Clair County, Illinois. This shows the birth took place in the area outside of Caseyville village but within the area covered by Caseyville township.
