Dear List, Does anyone on this list have John C. Graeser, Hotel Keeper, in Springfield, IL 1880, among your records? I am trying to make a connection between the Graesers and a laborer, Adam WOLF,age 48, who was at the hotel at the time of the 1880 Census. I am researching the Christian Wolf family of Mascoutah, IL. I believe his father was John Wolf. I found a John Wolf, age 58, on the 1870 Census in St. Clair County with a George Graeser.
