I am new to the list. I am going to have a very little time this summer in E. St. Louis (passing through) and would like to have some suggestions as to where a good place is to begin. I have found the family on the Ancestry.com 1890 listing living at 500 St. Louis Ave. & 38 Missouri Ave. and on the 1900 Census living at 419 St. Louis Ave. and the 38 Missouri Ave name missing. I am resending for the FHC film to see if I missed something. They are said to own a house with a mortgage, where would I go to get the deed info? The father of the family was born 1855 in Maryland.
