Sonny, Pam, etc Apparently most of the links on the GAR website at http://pages.prodigy.net/mistergar/garhp.htm no longer work. Using the google.com search engine for GAR, I received thousands of "hits". Reviewing the "hits", I found a list of GAR sites at http://library.morrisville.edu/local_history/sites/gar_post/garlink.html This list includes a hyperlink, with a list of GAR Posts in Ilinois. You might try the google.com search engine for other websites pertaining to the GAR or Civil War information ... in order to minimize your "hits", try to be specific. For example, I searched for GAR +"civil war", and received 17,700 "hits". There are MANY sites pertaining to this subject ... good luck. Art ----- Original Message ----- From: "Arthur J.
